RUSSELL PETERS IN ELDBORG

Actor, author and comedian Russell Peters is well known for his honest observational humor, highlighting racial, ethnic, class and cultural stereotypes, and so much more.

As one of the most sought after comics in the business, Peters enjoys worldwide success that’s hard to match, easily selling out arenas from Canada to Australia and everywhere in between.

With his new worldwide tour, Deported, Peters will be visiting Iceland for the very first time, with the goal to bring the house down with laughter at Eldborg in Harpa on May 30th, featuring brand new material.

About Russell Peters

Peters’ dry wit and likable sincerity has garnered him terrific reviews from all around. The comedian often refers to his own experiences growing up in an Anglo-Indian family, and impersonates the accents of various ethnic groups to poke fun at them. He credits his performance on the Canadian TV comedy show Comedy Now!, which was uploaded onto YouTube and became viral, as the turning point in his career.

His last tour, entitled Almost Famous, travelled to 30 countries with over 200 performances and more than 300,000 fans in attendance.

After taking time off since filming Almost Famous for Netflix, Russell has produced and starred in his own comedy-drama limited series for Netflix, The Indian Detective, which will be available for streaming this December.

The Deported World Tour will take Peters around the world with shows well into 2019, stopping by in Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, England, Africa and Iceland, to name only a few places. The tour features all new material, plus Peters' signature interactions with the audience.
