On the 8th and 9th of April, students from Arnes County Music School performed a one hour long concert of Mozart´s Magic Flute in Hveragerði‘s church. Over a hundred students performed to a full audience in three concerts. Student singers and the school‘s senior orchestra were the main performers, assisted by wind and guitar players. The schools junior orchestra, wind band, recorder group, girl pop group, junior singers and pianists took part. A very special atmosphere was created by these very different groups performing together.

The Magic Flute adventure continues in the Kaldalón concert hall in Harpa on Tuesday 3rd of May at 19:30. Performing with the orchestra will be a visiting string orchestra from Poland.
