Dýratónar usually has its home in Hljóðhimnar in Harpa - but sometimes it goes on the road! On Reykjavík Culture Night, Dýratónar will move across the hall, into Vísa on the ground floor of Harpa. There you will also be able to peek behind the scenes and see how the gadgets inside the instruments work - May we invite you to play bird sounds, create rhythms from grasshoppers and hear how whales sound in the sea?

Come and take part in Dýratónar, where birds, insects, whales and children come together.

Space: :Stemma, on the ground floor (diagonally opposite Hljóðhimnar)

Most young birds have now flown out of their nests to their adventures - but what about humans, can they now nestle into the fall? At Culture Night, the ÞYKJÓ design team invites children and their families to the installation Nest Us. Here it is good to sit back with a good book or close your eyes and enjoy the sound installation by Sóley where a cuckoo occasionally swoops down and a breeze can be heard in the distance.
