Hanna Ágústa Olgeirsdóttir, joined by pianist Viðar Guðmundsson, gives a concert in Hörpuhorn, an open space located on the first floor of Harpa, right in front of Eldborg. Admission is free and everybody welcome.
The concert is part of the "Welcome Home Series", an annual concert series, featuring young Icelandic soloists that have finished their studies abroad. This concert series is a collaborative project between the FÍT classical department of FÍH and Harpa.
Hanna graduated from the Leipzig University of Music in 2022, where she studied singing under the guidance of Prof. Carola Guber. Hanna previously studied singing at the Reykjavík Singing School and completed her postgraduate studies there under the guidance of Ólöf Kolbrún Harðardóttir. In 2016, she received a scholarship from the Vilhjálmur Vilhjálmsson Memorial Fund to study at the Singing School and in February 2021 a scholarship from the Heimir Klemenzson Memorial Fund.Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun |
