Sandra Lind Þorsteinsdóttir, soprano, gives a concert in Hörpuhorn, an open space located on the first floor of Harpa, right in front of Eldborg. Admission is free and everybody welcome.
The concert is part of the "Harpa Welcome Home Series", an annual concert series, featuring young Icelandic soloists that have finished their studies abroad. This concert series is a collaborative project between Harpa and the FÍT classical department of FÍH.
Sandra Lind Þorsteinsdóttir is an Icelandic soprano based in Copenhagen. She holds a Master‘s Degree in Voice from Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium and a Bachelor of Music Degree from Iceland Academy of the Arts. She is currently finishing an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Voice from Syddansk Musikkonservatorium with a Debut Concert in September, 2025.In 2023 Sandra was selected as one of the winners of the Syddansk Musikkonservatorium’s soloist competition. She has been a soloist in projects like Stabat Mater by Pergolesi, Det Hellige Land by Otto Malling, as Pamina/Papagena in The Magic Flute with Det Lille Operakompagni and in various projects with The Flying Theatre. Sandra is a member of ELECTRIO, a non-traditional trio, consisting of voice, guitar and electronics. She has sung in the choir of The Danish Radio Concert Choir in various projects and performs as a soloist at church ceremonies on a regular basis.
