The Gaflarakórinn Choir, a choir for senior citizens in Hafnarfjörður, performs songs from Iceland, Norway and Sweden about spring, peace and the beauty of life.

The Gaflarakórinn Choir, a choir for senior citizens in Hafnarfjörður, was founded in 1994. The choir has about 40 members. The choir sings all kinds of songs. It sings at nursing homes and residential homes twice a year and holds an annual spring concert. It also participates in the annual gatherings of 5 choirs from the southwest. The choir's director for the last 20 years is Kristjana Þórdís Ásgeirsdóttir.
The concert is part of the Icelandic Choir Conductors' Association's spring concert series in Harpa. Admission is free and all are welcome.
