Join Hrynjandi Women’s Choir for a joyful concert at Hörpuhorn on Sunday, May 25th at 3 PM. The program features a vibrant mix of new and classic songs by women composers, both Icelandic and international. Among the featured artists are Bergþóra Árnadóttir, Bríet, Hjördís Pétursdóttir, Ingibjörg Azima, and Ingibjörg Þorbergs. Most of the pieces have been specially arranged for the choir by their conductor, Berta Dröfn Ómarsdóttir.

The women’s choir Hrynjandi is a vibrant and lively choir that performs music by women. During the Advent season, a joyful tradition has developed where Hrynjandi sings around downtown Reykjavík, bringing festive music and holiday spirit to locals and visitors alike. In June 2025, the choir will embark on an exciting concert tour to Helsinki and Tallinn, sharing their love of music abroad. The conductor of Hrynjandi is Berta Dröfn Ómarsdóttir.
The concert is part of the Icelandic Choir Conductors' Association's spring concert series in Harpa. Admission is free and all are welcome.
