In connection with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra's 75th anniversary, the orchestra is organizing the community project “Do You Want to Play Along?” This project invites everyone who wishes to join the Iceland Symphony Orchestra in an open rehearsal and performance in Eldborg. Over a hundred musicians have signed up to participate, along with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, making it set to be the largest symphony orchestra ever to perform in Eldborg. The program will feature the final movement of Dvorák's 9th Symphony, From the New World, and Á Sprengisandi, arranged by Páll Pampichler Pálsson.
Registration for the rehearsal is now closed, but guests are welcome to listen to the performance in Eldborg. Admission is free.
The performance will last approximately half an hour.
