ANIMELODIES is a part of the music festival BIG BANG

The musician Sóley Stefánsdóttir invites children and families to explore the wondrous world of animal sounds with her.

Close your eyes and imagine lying in the green grass. The sun shines on your face, and the birds are chirping. The golden plover sings dirrindí, the raven croaks, and the snipe dives from the sky.

Crickets dance between the blades of grass. Bumblebees flutter between flowers. A warm breeze plays around us.

We sit up and gaze out at the sea. Can you hear the whales singing?

Would you like to play with the bird sounds, create rhythms from grasshoppers, and hear how whales sound beneath the ocean? Or perhaps you’d rather come inside and relax in a beautiful soundscape of animals and children?

Come and join the animelodies, where birds, insects, whales og kids unite as one.

FREE ACCESS – no need to pre-register
