Elín Gunnlaugsdóttir’s micro-operas, Busy and Halfway Down, are set to texts by A.A. Milne, best known for his stories about Winnie the Pooh. Each opera lasts only about 8 minutes, but despite their brevity, the works embrace larger aspects of existence, addressing the human existential crisis in a lively and playful manner. The micro-operas will be performed one after the other in Hörpuhorn, opposite the entrance to Eldborg Hall on the 2nd floor of Harpa.
