Singer Guðrún Ýr Eyfjörð and pianist Magnús Jóhann Ragnarsson first met at the Reykjavík College of Jazz when performing together at an ABBA tribute show. Since then they have collaborated on multiple projects. Guðrún is more commonly known as GDRN and has released two albums, the latest one in February 2020. Magnús has also released two solo albums and worked on an array of different projects. The two have been prolific performers on the Icelandic music scene the past few years, both as a duo and with a full band. The past few months Guðrún and Magnús have been working on an album which will consist of new renditions of classic Icelandic songs. Folk songs, pop songs and everything in between will be presented at the concert.
