John Bishop is an English comedian, presenter, Liverpool supporter, actor, and former footballer for Hyde and Southport FC. He is known for appearences in Skins, The Panel and later John Bishop's Britain, John Bishop's Only Joking, The John Bishop Show and most recently John Bishop's Ireland. He is one of Britain’s most popular comedians and has had guests such as James Corden, Russell Brand, Katie Price, Professor Brian Cox, Gabby Logan and Jeremy Corbyn.

2020 sees him do over 50 shows in the UK and Europe and most of the shows are already sold out or are soon to be sold out. Bishop will do a single show in Reykjavík in Háskólabíó October 11th.
