The Philharmonic Choir performs one of the most epic and enduring choral works ever written, Messa da Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi.

The concert features a large symphonic orchestra and a number of virtuoso soloists : Hallveig Rúnarsdóttir, soprano; Hildigunnur Einarsdóttir, alto; Gissur Páll Gissurarson, tenor; and Kristinn Sigmundsson, bass. Sif Margrét Tulinius will be concertmaster, and conductor is Magnús Ragnarsson.
