In this program, violinist/violist Marco Fusi focuses on the exploration of the possibilities of the viola d’amore. Through the lens of live electronics, these works will be enhancing its resonances, magnifying its tactile sound world, displaying its endless harmonic richness. After the first performance of the core of this program during Skálholt festival 2018, this concert completes the musical journey into the viola d'amore, including the world premiere of two works that found their new home within the strings of the viola d’amore.
