Reykjavik CrossFit Championship

One of Iceland’s largest Sports Events returns in 2020!

Reykjavik Crossfit championship returns for the second year on the 26th to 28th June 2020. It will be hosted at Laugardalsholl in the heart of Reykjavik.

60 individual athletes will compete for the 3.500.000 ISK price purse and an invitation to the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games in Madison Wisconsin, USA.

Come and be witness to a spectacle of fitness in an intense arena, with a combination of sound, light, functionality and muscle.

This event is part of the CrossFit Sanctionals, 30 events hosted all around the world, all qualifying the top competitor to the Reebok CrossFit Games.

Background:

The CrossFit season is separated into two phases, the OPEN where the top individual competitors based on 5 workouts will qualify to represent their country. In addition to national champions, the top20 worldwide will also automatically qualify. The second phase is sanctionals. An opportunity for people who have not yet qualified and athletes looking to fine tune their performance prior to the Reebok CrossFit Games in Madison in August.
