Three women called Ingibjörg merge in one Ingibjörg, one mind, one sound.

A memorable concert experience where poems by Ingibjörg Haraldsdóttir are woven into the soundscape of singer Ingibjörg Fríða and composer Ingibjörg Ýr. You will hear the Icelandic folk instrument langspil, as well as the piano, clarinet, electric sounds, kalimbas, harmonium and, of course, voices.

‘The woman in the mirror’ is a song cycle with new songs to the poems of Ingibjörg Haraldsdóttir (1942-2016). Ingibjörg Fríða and Ingibjörg Ýr have been working on this project for the last few years and have received a grant from the Icelandic artist’s salary fund to complete the work. Ingibjargir have performed around the country, for example in Siglufjörður, Þingvellir, Stykkishólmur, Egilsstaðir and Reykjavík.
