About the event

Eistnaflug is an indoor festival in Neskaupstaður, a friendly, small town in the Eastfjords, as far from Reykjavík as you can reach without leaving the country. The 2019 edition was a huge success. It had an amazing atmosphere and everyone left with a happy feeling!

Eistnaflug 2022 will be memorable! 

Last time we went back to our roots and Eistnaflug was held at Egilsbúð and it only makes sense to do this again. After all, Egilsbúð is the original venue for the festival!

Since 2005, the festival has grown by leaps and bounds and is now a three-day music festival, where metal, hardcore, punk, rock and indie bands share the field.

Eistnaflug is a unique music hot-tub, with a few carefully selected foreign bands playing along with an enormous selection of all the best that the Icelandic scene has to offer each year.
