What does a busy, modern, single woman do when she gets cancer for Christmas? She cracks jokes! With no respect for cancer, Ingibjörg spent most of her cancer treatment writing a stand-up comedy that she premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, fresh out of chemo and radio therapy. She's now visiting Iceland and will put on two performances of Sense of Tumour, allowing her fellow Icelanders to laugh with her at anything from hairloss to getting laid with cancer. Performance is in English, all proceeds will go to Kraftur - a support group for young people who have been diagnosed with cancer, in memory of journalist Ingveldur Geirsdóttir.
