The plot revolves around murders, police corruption, violence against women, exploitation of the employer to the worker, marginalisation of class, injustice in immigration, human rights and drug trafficking.

Aurelio and Citlali meet each other in a small hotel of Mexico City during the darkest days of theirs lives. He just buried his son, murdered in broad daylight. She had to abandon her daughter with her abusive father. Aurelio wants the police to do their job and capture his son’s murderers. Citlali needs a legal document to fight for her daughter’s custody. The state has become a criminal enterprise and are of no help to neither of them. Their quest for justice soon transforms into the need for revenge. Little by little, love grows and a pact is forged between them: to help each other and take justice into their own hands at whatever cost.
