Icelandic bassist & composer Sigmar Matthiasson with his quartet will start the summer session at Mulinn. He released his debut solo album, ÁRÓRA, in September 2018 and was nominated as jazz composer of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards 2019. Combining jazz with different genres to create a surprising mixture of powerful and lyrical music with an adventurous, yet still a stable outcome. Expect to hear material off the debut album as well as some brand new compositions by Sigmar and others.
