"Electro-acoustic songstress and songwriter MIMRA performs twice at Reykjavík Fringe Festival 2019. She performs her music in a solo setup with keyboards and loop-pedals to her aid.

MIMRA is the guise of Icelandic singer, composer and producer Mari´a Magnu´sdo´ttir, creating her own style of electro-acoustic folk-pop. MIMRA ambitiously sows numerous genres and sounds together to great effect, expertly maneuvering between delicate sparseness and powerful vivacity. MIMRA released the album ‘Sinking Island’ to critical acclaim in 2017, combining electro-pop with orchestral arrangements. MIMRA’s most recent release is the hypnotizing dark-electropop single ‘Vindurinn’, produced in collaboration with Stefa´n Íkorni.
