The Iceland Symphony Orchestra has made a date with many of Iceland’s most popular musicians for two festival concerts in Eldborg hall. Guest artists who will appear and perform their own music in new acoustic arrangements for symphony orchestra are: Auður, GDRN, Flóni, Bríet, Sturla Atlas, Joey Christ, Logi Pedro, JóiPé and Króli, Cell7, and Reykjavíkurdætur.

The conductor is Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason, and the arrangements are by Viktor Orri Árnason. The programme includes Án þín, Ógeðsleg, Geimvera, and Enginn eins og þú, as well as other well-known songs. Don’t miss this opportunity to see and hear a hundred musicians join together to create new classics.

The concert was originally planned on 16 and 17 April 2020 but was cancelled due to the assembly ban in Iceland. Concertgoers holding tickets to the event will automatically have a ticket to this event in the same seats as before.

Further information on the concert can be found on the Iceland Symphony Orchestra website.
