Nick
Jameson played Russian President Yuri Suvarov on the television show 24 and
was a member of the classic rock band Foghat and a regular at the Comedy
Store in Los Angeles. He has appeared in hundreds of TV shows, films,
animated shows and video games and has released two solo albums.
He is also one ancient, obsolete, worn-out, broke-down, used-up,
long-in-the-tooth, over-the-hill, odometer-done-run-out-of-numbers, moldy,
decrepit, dilapidated, antiquated, way-past-the-expiration-dated,
superannuated Individual.
But here’s the thing: Nick doesn’t give a damn. He lives and acts the same
way he did when he was twenty, and he sees no good reason to change.
Some people have a problem with that. Like the guy who came up to him after
a comedy show one night and said “Hey, you’re really funny! But...why are you
so old?”
How do you answer a question like that? Well, obviously, you write a show
about it. And, because you’re old, you do it quickly, before your memory goes
all Bermuda Triangle on your ass.
Join Nick as he ponders eternal questions like: Is getting old a lifestyle
choice? Is death a software glitch that somebody really needs to do something
about? Is youth an experiment that went horribly wrong?
Old age is coming for that ass, people. Acquire the skills you’ll need to
make it your bitch at Nick Jameson’s hilarious and moving mix of music, stand up and improv comedy
and scintillating tomfoolery, Why Are You So Old?
