Benedikt Kristjánsson performs the program of his newly released CD "Drang in die Ferne", which has received much praise by critics in Germany.
The Program draws together 2 types of songs; The Icelandic Folksong, sung without accompaniment, and songs by Franz Schubert.
Benedikt is an internationally acclaimed Lied and Oratorio singer, who has worked with conductors such as Hans-Christoph Rademann, Reinhard Goebel and Philippe Herreweghe. He has performed in many of the most renowned concert halls in Europe.
