A man stranded in the Arctic after an airplane crash must decide whether to remain in the relative safety of his makeshift camp or to embark on a deadly trek through the unknown.

The Danish Mads Mikkelsen has the leading role and once again he shows spectacular performance as the weather-beaten pilot Overgård, by his side is the Icelandic actress María Thelma Smáradóttir who plays the other leading role in the film. The Icelandic film production company Pegasus ehf managed the production of the film that was fully shot in Iceland with all Icelandic staff where the only exception was the director Joe Penna.
