Jonas and Jon Muli Arnason were brother with a strong musical strain beloved for their humor and music. May 4th three major musicians will offer a popular program in their memory in Hannesarholt on Grundarstigur 4, 101.

The trio Þórhildur Örvarsdóttir, Pálmi Óskarsson and Helga Kvam
visits Hannesarholt with a program which was a part of the Akureyri Arts Festival in the summer of 2018. The program was very popular and has been repeated numerous times in Akureyri. Now in Reykjavik as well.

The brothers Arnason composed a number of musicals, in which they dealt with the issues of the times cast in a humorous light.  Many of these songs have become classics with Icelanders. Jonas Arnason also wrote lyrics to many foreign songs, the most popular of which are the ones he wrote to British folk songs.
