The Remains of the Commonwealth (Resterne af Rigsfællesskabet) mixes modular synthesizers with the sound world of Inuit drum dance.

The Remains of the Commonwealth

The ensemble is researching the relationships and histories of the remaining countries of the Danish commonwealth and the last country to declare its independence thereof via site specific live improvised music performance. The group has mainly performed in Iceland and is embarking on a journey to Greenland, The Faroe Islands and Denmark.
