One of Scotland’s most famous pop bands, The Proclaimers, are finally coming to Iceland after 30 years of wait! Twins Craig and Charlie Reid received international success in 1988 with their hit song I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles). But did you know that it was actually Icelanders who caught on right away and voted the song No 1 on their charts long before any other nation did? The Scottish brothers have therefore thought fondly of Iceland since but unfortunately not been able to visit their neighbours in the North, till now.

Without too much of a stretch, you could say it’s pretty much exactly 1000 miles from Edinburgh to Reykjavik so now, finally, The Proclaimers will keep their word and march all the way up on stage in Eldborg, Harpa, on 15 April, to play all their old and new hits.

Ticket sales start at 10am on 22 November, with an early bird price till 27 December.
