The time has come once again for The Poetry Brothel Reykjavík’s second annual Masquerade ball. In celebration of hidden hopes and desires, we invite you to explore our maze of dancers, tarot card readers, magicians, and poets—in the main hall and in private. We invite you into a world of fantasy and phantasm.

As soon as you cross the threshold, you leave reality behind. Now, you are reborn with a new name, your face concealed behind a mask as you uncover clues that will lead you to the spirit of the house.

The evening’s main poet will be Linda Vilhjálmsdóttir, who will read in Icelandic, with English translations provided by Meg Matich.
