There will be a feast in Ólafsfjörður Church on Friday August 17th when Bjarni Frímann Bjarnason performs with our renowned tenor Kristján Jóhannsson, cellist Ólöf Sigursveinsdóttir, tenor Eyjólfur Eyjólfsson and violinist Vera Panitch. This extraordinary gala evening of the Blueberry Music Festival exhibits several delicacies from the abundant riches of the musical repertoire.

Kristján Jóhannsson performs among other works the famous aria ?Vesti la giubba“ by Leoncavallo and the beloved ?Gígjan“ by Sigfús Einarsson. The concert also features the beautiful sonata ?Arpeggione“ by Schubert performed by Ólöf Sigursveinsdóttir and Bjarni Frímann. In addition, Eyjólfur Eyjólfsson sings lesser known folksongs by Beethoven with the piano trio of Vera, Ólöf and Bjarni Frímann. One of the highlights of the evening is Bjarni Frímann´s solo performance on the Ólafsfjörður Church piano.
