The Singer Songwriter Birta Rós Sigurjónsdóttir has chosen the pseudonym Duld as an artistic name. She has performed in weddings, funerals, art gallery openings, at her own concerts and with other bands as a freelance Singer and a bassist. Her most successful streak is with her duet The Soundation Project with Sveinbjörn Ólafsson. She has studied music since she was a child and took her time finding her calling as a singer and a bass player and eventually a teacher. Her music evades classification, yet the closest description is pop fusion. Her guitarist Sveinbjörn Ólafsson has played with The Soundation Project and his band Sígull.
