The 18 year old violinist Ziyu He has gained international attention in recent years as gold medalist in the Menuhin, Leopold Mozart and Eurovision Young Musicians competitions. He has appeared as soloist with orchestras in Europe, U.S.A., China and Russia, and performs regularly at music festivals around the world. A student at the Mozarteum Salzburg, Ziyu He plays the 1855 “Grumiaux” violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume.

Vladimir Stoupel is an exceptionally diverse artist. As a pianist, he has recorded many albums and performed as soloist with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Russian State Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra. He has also made a name for himself as a conductor and appears regularly with orchestras in Europe. In Iceland, Stoupel has conducted the Reykjavík Chamber Orchestra.

In this one hour long lunchtime concert, Ziyu He and Vladimir Stoupel will perform a varied and interesting program.
