Daði Freyr is an Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and producer who focuses on synth based grooves laden with 80s flavours. Based in Berlin,. he creates alternative dance music and has been performing under the name Mixophrygian for the last few years, reverting to his actual name in recent years.

Berndsen They’re indie. They’re Icelandic. They play 1980s-tinged electro-pop and wear wacky technicolour clothes. They’re really quite hairy. And they are utterly unlike anything you normally see or hear! They are utterly enthralled by the 1980s and write and perform shamelessly nostalgic, retro-flavoured synth-pop to prove it.
