Reykjavík Fringe Festival is a multidisciplinary arts festival that takes place all over Reykjavík between the 4th and 8th of July. The festival draws inspiration from Edinburgh and other large international fringe festivals, punching well above its weight and offering a fantastic line-up with some of the freshest and most exciting acts in the fringe world today. An interesting and eclectic mix of stand-up, improv, theatre, poetry-slam, music, dance, and movies from all over the world.

Guests can purchase a festival pass for the low price of 9.900ISK. A festival pass grants priority access to all shows at all venues. Wristbands can be picked up from the 1st of July and we kindly ask guests to note that wristbands are only handed out to pass holders in person, never to a third party. Wristband pick-up and general info can be found in Tjarnarbíó in down-town Reykjavík, the festival’s main venue and HQ.

In addition to priority access to all shows, pass holders get a variety of perks, including all day – every day HAPPY HOUR prices at the festival’s main venue.

As part of the festival, Reykjavík Fringe Festival will host an opening party at Hlemmur Square in down-town Reykjavík, one of the festival’s main sponsors. The party starts at 20:00 on Sunday 1st of July. Guests will enjoy samples of the festival’s line-up, along with food and drink while supply lasts. Entry to the opening party is free of charge but space is limited so guests are advised to be on time.
