Three playwrights, Kolfinna Nikulásdóttir, Mikael Torfason and Soffía Bjarnadóttir, will take the audience on an exciting journey through one of the city’s most remarkable areas, Blesugróf.
The neighbourhood was built up by impoverished people in the post-war years, when people from all around the country flocked to the city. For many years, Blesugróf was not part of any formal city plans. Although the old neighbourhood has mostly given way to the 21st century, its roots still linger.
Three new plays will be performed in different locations within Blesugróf, where the audience will walk around in small groups, enjoying each play in its chosen place, outside as well as indoors.
Three brand new plays directed by Marta Nordal, coming to life in an unconventional setting.
