Welcome to the most entertaining awards ceremony Iceland has ever seen! Stories – The Children’s Awards will be held in Eldborg on April 22. At this huge event the kids give out awards to the artists they have voted for. Creative projects by children will also be awarded, and IBBY in Iceland will present their honour award, Sögusteinninn.

This is an awards ceremony as the kids would like to see it. Brilliant young entertainers will perform, along with some a little bit older. There will be no time for boredom and absolutely no long speeches. Just an hour of terrific fun. The event will be broadcast live on RÚV – The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service.
