Choreographer Elina Pirinen and team perform on-stage autopsies to Dmitri Shostakovich’s 7th Symphony, also known as the Leningrad Symphony. The performance is born, lives, and is destroyed through the faithful and yet unfaithful relationship of the choreographer, three dancers, the writer and the lighting designer to this enormous musical work. This dance piece fearlessly delves deep into the subjective and complex inner essence of the individual, an area fundamentally touching the fabric of society.
