The oldest swamp soccer team in Iceland, FC Karaoke, wins the European Cup in Ísafjördur, and then travels to Ukkohalla, Finland to compete in the world cup. The film provides a tongue-in-cheek look at the origins of this fringe sport and introduces us to some of its local characters – who remind us that it’s just as important to have fun as it is to win.
