Ingi Bjarni - North-Atlantic Trio
Pianist Ingi Bjarni Skúlason leads this Icelandic-Faroese trio collaboration. The trio plays mostly new music by Ingi Bjarni which has influences from Nordic folk songs and jazz. The music contains enough space for improvisation as well. Last June the trio toured the Faroe Islands and one of the goals for this project is to strengthen the collaboration between Icelandic and Faroese musicians.
