From Top To Bottoms (Spólað yfir hafið) gives the viewer an exclusive access into the lives of people who take their passion to a whole new level. Their love for building a truck just to watch it crash and go to pieces several times in each competition and to rebuild it, is nothing less than admirable. For the first time ever this Icelandic sport called “torfæra” or Formula Offroad is going to America.

This movie follows the “ambassadors” of the sport through this mission. In this group of fifteen drivers we have veterans of the sport, such as the entrepreneur, and the living legend of this sport, Árni Kópsson himself. So make no mistake. The Icelanders are going to Bikini Bottom Offroad park, in Dyersburg, Tennessee to do three things.

Show off their skills, teach those Americans how to drive and give them the show off their lifetime. Another side of the documentary is the beautiful relationship between all the drivers, their families and their crews. A unity that is like nothing else.
