„The plan is to build giant power lines all across this country,“ a farmer in Skagafjörður declares. She is one of many farmers who strongly opposes the building of visible power lines through the untouched nature in Skagafjörður and Eyjafjörður in Northern Iceland for more then a hundred kilometres. The gigantic utility towers would not only deface the landscape, but also present a health risk to animals and humans and thereby threaten both farming and the growing tourism industry. The film shows us the struggle of the farmers against a big corporation that seems to have all the political connections it needs.
