The French teenage version of Brokeback Mountain tells the story of two teenage boys who fight all the time – but slowly realize the underlying feelings behind their conflicts. Damien lives with his mother Marianne, while his father is on a tour of duty abroad. Thomas lives with his mother, who is ill, on a farm outside of town and has to walk for an hour and a half to school every day. The story all takes place in the farms and villages of the French Pyrenean mountains where the seasons fluctuate with the moods of the characters.
