Mouth Music (2017) by Ríkharður H. Friðriksson is a work for a sphere of loudspeakers on walls and ceiling, 29 in this case, where sound travels all around the audience. The sounds originally come from the mouth, hence the name (nothing to do with the Scottish tradition of the same name). The original sounds are mostly very quiet, but through the tour from the mouth to a much wider and more powerful context, they are transformed into something much larger. The work will premiere at Dark Music Days.
