The members of Red Hot Chili Peppers have chosen the Fufanu to open on July 31st! Fufanu is an Icelandic electro influenced rock band described as a unique melting pot of flavours with crunchy post-punk and chewy synthpop. The band has opened for Damon Albarn, Blur and Radiohead and have been touring the UK with The Vaccines and Europe with John Grant. This is one of Iceland‘s most up and coming bands and the Pepper‘s personal choice for opening act!

The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2012.
