During this musical journey, spanning the years 1933 to 2016, you will be introduced to the musical gems of the Westman Islands. The inhabitants of this volcanic island, situated off the soutcoast of Iceland, are raised with a strong love for music and song. The island hosts its own music festival in August of each year, for which a new song is always written. For the sixth year in a row the people of the Westman Islands and other guests come together in Harpa to celebrate their musical history, performed by some of Icelands most loved singers and musicians Come and join us for an evening of music and song and experience the wonders of the Westman Islands.
