Projeto Brasil!

Is a new and exciting cooperation project of Icelandic saxophonist Sigurður Flosason and Swedish guitarist Hans Olding. Other band members are Swedish percussionist Ola Bothzén, Danish bass player Morten Ankareldt og  Icelandic cellist Þórdís Gerður Jónsdóttir. They have recently released a CD by the same name in Sweden to excellent reviews. The band plays classic and popular Brazilian compositions by composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Milton Nascimento og Vinicius De Moraes in original arrangements by the the leaders, as well as a few originals in a similar style.
