Kristján Jóhannsson’s Christmas Concert

Experience the true holiday spirit with world-renowned Icelandic tenor, Kristján Jóhannsson, and guests as they perform a selection of Iceland’s most beloved Christmas songs along with some of opera’s most cherished tunes.

Jóhannsson’s annual Christmas Concert has become a cherished holiday tradition for music lovers across Iceland. This year the Concert is held on December 6th at 20:00 in Harpa’s accoustically acclaimed main hall, Eldborg.

Some of Iceland’s best known operatic voices will perform along with Jóhannsson: Dísella Lárusdóttir, Valgerdur Gudnadóttir, and Oddur Arnthór Jónsson. They will be accompanied by the Reykjavík Opera Choir and a symphonic orchestra conducted by Gardar Cortes.
