Myndin segir frá innilegri vináttu tveggja 13 ára drengja, Leó og Remí, sem slitnar upp úr án fyrirvara. Leó á erfitt með að skilja hvað gerðist og fer til móður Remí til að reyna fá útskýringar. Myndin er lauslega byggð á reynslu leikstjórans.
