Hafnarfjörður Concert Band is the municipal band of Hafnarfjörður town. The band will give a concert in Norðurljós, Harpa, on 10th March at 20:00. The music comes from different parts of the world and includes sambas, marches and folk songs. The band will premiere a new piece, Reworks, by Icelandic composer Finnur Karlsson, and act as accompaniment to Eiríkur Rafn Stefánsson's flügelhorn in Big blue eyes by Per-Olof Ukkonen. The band's favourite Icelandic concert march, Tjarnarmars, will also be performed in honour of its composer Páll Pampichler Pálsson who passed away earlier this year.

Rúnar Óskarsson is the conductor of Hafnarfjörður Concert Band.
