This diverse program features the delightful A major flute quartet by Mozart. In addition the Miller-Porfiris duo will perform a short piece by the Swedish contemporary composer Paula af Malmborg Ward. The Icelandic baritone singer Oddur Arnþór Jónsson will play a big role, performing song cycles by two of Iceland´s most prominent composers of the 20th century; Jórunn Viðar and Jón Leifs. The last piece on the program is the single movement string sextet from the opera “Capriccio” by Richard Strauss.
